About ComputerEase

In the Beginning...
ComputerEase was started in 1989 by Karin Rex. Originally we specialized in Macintosh training for graphic arts software, working with publishing companies and other businesses that wanted to bring their desktop publishing and pre-press needs in-house. Throughout the 90's we steadily added a wide variety of course offerings for both Macintosh and Windows PC software as well as Internet related topics.

ComputerEase trainers are professional, highly skilled, and have even been called entertaining! We come from varied backgrounds and have worked in many different industries all over the world. We actively use the software and skills we teach, and we are dedicated to helping our students become more productive with the tools we are teaching them.

Our courseware development services grew out of our clients' need for high-quality customized training. Simply put, when we started training there were not a lot of options as far as computer training materials -- so we created options for our customers. We have a unique knack for writing about subjects we know absolutely nothing about. Our writers are fast learners, clear communicators, occasionally irreverent, and never boring.

We are a small company by design -- more of a fine boutique rather than a chain department store. Our small size gives us the ability to provide our clients high quality, highly personalized service.
